ROANOKE, Texas – A new “axe-perience” is set to change the entertainment game in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
FlannelJax’s, the nation’s premier axe throwing and lumberjack sports experience, announced today the opening of its newest location in Denton County. Owned by local entrepreneurs Cyndy Brown and Ryan Fuller, FlannelJax’s first location in Texas is set to open on May 13 at 1212 N. US Highway 377 in Roanoke.
With its entry into the state, FlannelJax’s is introducing an axe throwing experience like no other. “After visiting the FlannelJax’s location in St. Paul, Minnesota, Cyndy and I knew we had to bring the concept to Texas,” said Fuller. “We spent about 2 hours throwing axes at the facility, and even though we were – admittedly – pretty bad, we had a blast. Regardless of experience level or athleticism, FlannelJax’s offers fun for everyone. We’re excited to offer this new entertainment option to our neighbors in Roanoke.”
Both Fuller and Brown join FlannelJax’s with backgrounds in human resources. A majority of Brown’s experience within the field is in operations management, whereas Fuller’s focus has been on financial services. Because of their background, they both understand the value of building relationships and driving teamwork and comradery in corporate life as well as in personal interactions.
