FlannelJax’s is Madison’s premier Axe Throwing and Lumberjack Sports experience. It’s impossible to describe the thrill of hurling an axe and seeing it slice into the bullseye! It’s an exciting release you won’t find anywhere else.
Even if you’ve never been Axe Throwing before, our trained Lumberjacks will help you to unleash your inner-Lumberjack. With a few tips and a couple of throws you’ll be experiencing the rush of sticking that bullseye!

- Do you serve alcohol?
Yes we do! FlannelJax's Madison has a selection of beer - both local and domestic, as well as wine and cocktails. As long as you're 21 years and older.
- How many people do I need to go Axe Throwing?
Our games work best with at least 4 people, but you can go Axe Throwing with as few as 2 people or over 100 for a big event.
- Will my group get a private court?
At FlannelJax's, groups of 7 or more people will have their own court with two targets. Smaller groups will have their own lane (1 target) but may have to share a court.
- What should I wear?
Just wear something comfortable that allows for movement so you can throw. The only requirement is that you wear closed toe shoes.
- Do you serve food?
FlannelJax's Madison offers pre-packaged snacks, but if you're looking for something more, we can coordinate take-out from any Madison favorites.
- How long does Axe Throwing take?
It depends on your group size. Smaller groups can get away with a 1 hour Axe Throwing session, while larger groups will definitely want 2 hours so everyone gets enough throws. We also have additional Lumberjack Sports which will add to your experience.
